Communication #60

In 1966 Canada's first satellite communication earth station was built near Mill Village, Nova Scotia. We walked to the site today. The inflatable dome that housed the first station is long gone but we talked to the owner of the local general store. He told us about his father working at the station.

  2. You have documented a relic of times past. Lots of times I pass places that have domes and wonder what goes on inside....now you know!
