I am having a very hard time dealing with backdrops and lighting and reflectors and tripods.

If I move the backdrop to the left do I move the camera to the right?

I'd rather just go out in the woods and shot something.

I have to admit I did start to feel relaxed after taking about 50 pictures of these roses but I have a nagging suspicion I was more relaxed before I started.
