Dumping day continued.

At 7:00 a.m. all the lobster boats along the south coast of Nova Scotia leave their whaves and head for their favourite fishing spots. The traps are set. They have been working for the last two months on traps, lines, bait and boats, From now on they will have to worry about the weather and the price of lobsters.

Orchard

A long long time ago glaciers scraped rocks and soil into Lunenburg County. When the ice melted hundreds of drumlins were left behind. Some of these hills are very good for growing crops. I took this picture at a local farm where I had stopped to buy some Cortland apples.

Lone Leaf

Kiwi never gives up hope. As the Alpha Male she expects me to find food. Whenever I stop and stoop on our walks , she comes hurrying up to check out my latest find.
