Friendly Crossbills


I found a pair of crossbills feeding on this apple tree. I'd like to think they consider these dried up apples to be a delicacy.

    Yeah, good idea, it saves you having to eat them. Mayhaps they are just eating the insects that would prevent this years crop. Cute little buggers aint they!
