A long long time ago glaciers scraped rocks and soil into Lunenburg County. When the ice melted hundreds of drumlins were left behind. Some of these hills are very good for growing crops. I took this picture at a local farm where I had stopped to buy some Cortland apples.

Nice furrows in the field and goldern leaves on the trees. Cortlands are the best!
