Leaf

A maple leaf with the sun behind it.

  1. Love how the sun brings out more of a lime green color! Nice.

  2. Nice! The glowing gold-green of late spring. It brings to mind Robert Frost's poem:
    Nature's first green is gold,
    Her hardest hue to hold.
    Her early leaf's a flower;
    But only so an hour.
    Then leaf subsides to leaf.
    So Eden sank to grief,
    So dawn goes down to day.
    Nothing gold can stay.
