The male was too shy but a was able to take a picture of this female redwing blackbird. She had mouths to feed back at the nest and didn't have time to worry about me and my camera.
When you shot one of these before it was at a distance and I stupidly thought that the were black. This one has chest markings that seem reminiscent of a Road Runner. To Me!

ReplyDeleteNice perch on that fir/pine (?) tree. Even the birds feathers look soggy in the fog. Nice sharp image.
