Cape Split is a long narrow peninsula that juts out into the Bay of Fundy. It's an 8 kilometre trek through evergreen and hardwood forests climbing over roots and fallen trees with sadistic hikers telling you that you've only got 15 more minutes to go to the end of the trail. The view at the end of the walk is worth it

Perfect composition - beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteIt was well worth the trek.
ReplyDeleteAnd the hikers weren't carrying heavy camera equipment, spectacular views are worth the effort as you proved here.
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with a photo like this. I like the gradient of the sky.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great view! I love the movement in the water.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view and photo, I'd love to visit there.
ReplyDeleteI am usually the sadistic hiker that says only a few more minutes. And see, that photo was really worth the hike!
ReplyDeleteI took that hike in June 2004. The sadistic (ok very friendly!) hiker I was with was a gentlemen by the name of Roy Bishop. And yep, he kept telling us not much further. :-) (I'm kidding, he was actually a very gracious host.) I think we had lunch at that very spot.
ReplyDeleteNice image.
