Vanishing Sand

This might look like a regular shoreline picture but this is normally a sandy beach. This is a picture of Little Risser's after a couple December storms washed the sand away. Hopefully, the sand will wash back in by springtime.

Today was a great day for a walk in the woods. The sun was shining and there wasn't a breath of wind. The ground was still frozen and there wasn't a sound in the forest.

Busted Trap

We have had a bit of wind and many fishermen who set lobster traps near the shore spent the morning gathering them up.

The local animal shelter holds a Christmas fund raiser at the beginning of December. Kiwi looks forward to having her picture taken with Santa.
