Biker in the Fog

I continue to wander around in the fog and drizzle. I used Photoshop Rlements to boost the light a little on this beach picture.

Hostas Leaves

The rain,fog and drizzle continues. I've given up waiting for the sun and have started photographing water on the leaves.

Feather on Beach

A single feather on the sand.

Blackbird

The male was too shy but a was able to take a picture of this female redwing blackbird. She had mouths to feed back at the nest and didn't have time to worry about me and my camera.

Toad

I found this fellow in my garden this morning. I popped him into a white plastic container and tooik a few pictures.

Memorial

We visited an old Mi'Kmaq and Acadian cemetery in Petite Riviere that dates back to the 17th century.

The comfrey in the flower garden is in bloom.

Bunchberry

I had a lot of difficulty with this bunchberry. I changed to a closeup lens and this is what I got.

lady slipper

I found this ladyslipper in the woods this evening.

Anchor

The anchor of the CSS Acadia. Launched in 1913 it is the only survivinge ship to have served the Canadian Navy in both world wars.

Bowline

The Acadia is tied up at the Museum of the Atlantic wharf in Halifax.
