I haven't had much luck finding signs of spring but while straining my eyes looking for something green or growing I spotted this old maple leaf . Having survived the winter, it was soaking up the sun on a rock.

I drove into a small parking lot in Bridgewater today and was immediately swarmed.

I started taking shots of this orange. I tried a few different angles and changing the light. Then I ate it . I think I could do better... but I'd have to go back to the supermarket and start all over .

These chains caught my eye in Lunenburg. They were at the shipyard. You can't tell from the picture how big they are.
